Sonic Witch

Choir piece, 2021
The project Sonic Witch arose from an extensive research into sonic landscapes. Where do we meet? The score, compositions, and stories are written by Rosa Ronsdorf and Alexandra Duvekot (who accompany the choir on Synthesizer and Cello) and sung by four groups of voices that embody these landscapes. They deal with historical and contemporary themes and take their place within sound in a poetic and sometimes political
way. Sonic Witch is an investigation into community singing, listening and meeting each other in sound.
